Whether your business is local or from further away, Hambleton Hall can accommodate your very special lunch or dinner event from Sundays through Thursdays during the Christmas season.

 

From 27th November to 15th December, parties booking The Study can choose from a Special Limited Choice Menu, which will bring gourmet delicacies to your table. The dining room offers an intimate setting for your guests, a menu to please the palate and a memorable experience of fine dining. You can choose three or four courses and complement these with selections from an extensive wine list. The restaurant’s highly experienced sommelier, Dominique Baduel, is more than pleased to offer guidance and discuss which wines best suit the various foods chosen.

 

The first course has fish, meat and vegetarian options, with a Terrine of Sea Bass & Artichoke vying with a Wild Mushroom Risotto, Parmesan & Tarragon and a Foie Gras Chicken Liver Parfait with Fig. Fish features in the middle course. This consists of the best fish catch of the day sourced from Devon and East Coast ports. Expect a perfect presentation with accompaniments that may include vegetables grown in the hotel’s own kitchen garden, or supplies imported from the Rungis Market – one of the finest in Paris.

 

The main courses include Fillet of Turbot, Merryfield Duck and Jacob’s Ladder – a slow-cooked short rib of beef – with all dishes complemented by delicious sides from Mr Patterson and his accomplished kitchen team. Hambleton Hall’s superb choice of three desserts consists of a Prune & Armagnac Soufflé, a Lime Meringue Pie with Lime Leaf Ice Cream and a Golden Chocolate Passion Fruit Sorbet. These are not like any dessert that you have tasted before.
