I am very keen on the Good Hotel Guide not least because they have supported us at least since 1985 when they gave us their “César” award for “comprehensive excellence in the luxury class”.
In the 2018 guide they have given us another “César” as “Luxury Hotel of the Year”. The GHG stands for traditional hotel keeping virtues rather than “marble and glitz factor” or high fashion so we are well pleased with our gong from this source.
